A woman is a complete definition of beauty, wisdom and love. She has sloped the mountains and sank into the ocean; she has matched the moves with every man in the world. From learning to say no to standing up for what you believe in, she has left a legacy behind for us. From fighting for equality to gender gap to paid maternity leave. she can run a company in the most efficient way, and also she can raise her children in a way that nobody ever can think of doing. She is leaders everywhere you look from. She is the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world. She is the real architects of society.

In the occasion of International women’s day, I have written this article for all the powerful ladies around the world.

How International Women's Day Celebrated in India?

On the 8th of March, Women's Day is celebrated in India. The concept of celebrating International Women's Day came from Western countries. Indians celebrate this day to express their love and respect to the women.

In India, it is also celebrated especially in metro cities. They celebrated it by organizing programmes for women to encourage the youngster to motivate women.  

How International Women's Day Celebrated Globally?

The first International Woman’s Day was observed in the United States of America in 1909 on February 28. In countries like Angola, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Georgia, Guinea Bissau, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Moldova, Mongolia, Nepal, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan declared International women’s day as a holiday. These countries celebrate this day by organizing loads of programs to inspire women and celebrate their achievements.

Let’s know who is women and where she stands for?

A woman is just a normal human. She is wiser, stronger, more sensible, more artistic, or more reliable than a man. Also, she is no less than any other men. She is also equal. She can perform all the duties even of a man so efficiently.

Empowering women means empowering women with education, employment, decision making, and better health given an equal and just society. This is the first step to bring women empowerment in India.

Society should understand that women are not only made to handle household chores or take responsibility for home and family.
