Monsoons are all fun and everything but when it comes to our beauty, It is essential to make a few changes and add up a few steps in our beauty regime to maintain a flawless skin. The Rainy weather can actually make your skin extremely unpredictable, like sometimes it may get oily and cause acne or sometimes it may get all dry and dull and dehydrated. It is important to find a way that balances the skin during such a weather.
Here are a few things that needs to be taken care of:
Cleansing - It’s essential to take off all the dirt that gets accumulated on to the skin during the day, Cleanse your skin at least twice a day and specially before bed.
Toning - a toner basically balances the PH level of the skin but make sure to tap it over your face With the help of a cotton rather than rubbing it as it makes your skin dry when you rub a toner instead of spraying or tapping
Moisturize - Now this is the most important step. No matter what the season may be, you must always moisturize your skin. Use a light weight moisturizer that offers a matte finish.
Exfoliate - Scrubbing and exfoliation needs to be done twice a week. Use a gentle scrub that takes of the dirt and dead skin.
Minimal Makeup - Avoid loud and heavy makeup and replace it with minimal and subtle makeup as it clogs the pores due to humidity and chances for the breakouts.
Importance of Tea Tree oil - Tea Tree oil is extremely great for this climate as its anti - bacterial and works well for acne and problematic skin.
Oily skin - If your skin tends to be oily, a clay based mask can be used to cleanse the pores and remove excess dirt from the skin. Just be sure to not over do it, maybe once a week.
Focus on the food - eat lots of fruits and water to keep your skin hydrated and healthy. It reduces the chance to get the dryness on the face.
